With an academic background in sociology and film theory, Ragini developed a keen interest in documentary filmmaking and photography. She sees the visual manifestation of film and photography as an extension of the existing narrative of everyday life. Her work is a medley of personal musings, hitchhikes, and exploration of the ever-diverse human condition.
Her first independent documentary production 'Bar and Girl' 2018 has been showcased in several film festivals. She has also worked on projects for CBS, The History Chanel, and Bollywood. Her photography work has been exhibited in the Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival, Women Street Photographers, Angkor Photo Festival, and India Photo festival. Ragini is currently directing her first feature-length documentary 'Our Hoolocks'.
